Maitland
Maitland
is a London-based legal and financial services company with offices in
Europe, South Africa and the British Virgin Islands. Working closely
with Webfactory,
a Cape Town-based Internet design house, Akivo managed the redevelopment
of Maitland’s existing website to reflect the
company’s new corporate branding. This included the implementation
of a bespoke web content management system to allow for efficient content
updating and design consistency.

CCAfrica
CCAfrica is one of Africa’s leading ecotourism companies, operating world
renowned safari lodges in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Namibia and
Botswana. Akivo formed part of the original team tasked with developing the CCAfrica
website. This site has been extremely successful and forms an integral part of
CCAfrica’s overall marketing strategy.

WildWatch
Originally developed by Akivo as an e-zine to promote CCAfrica’s conservation
and community efforts, WildWatch has become a valuable online resource with hundreds
of African wildlife articles and book reviews. The site also features regular
game sightings from rangers in the field, uploaded to the site via a simple content
management system. Successful in its own right, Wildwatch contributes to the
value of the CCAfrica brand and provides a steady flow of traffic to CCAfrica’s
main marketing website.
